Delete your GeldSpace account

You can delete your GeldSpace account and your data at any time. You don't need to reinstall the app.

In the app

  1. Open GeldSpace and go to Settings.
  2. Under Your data, tap Delete everything.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm.

If you'd like a copy first, tap Export as spreadsheet in the same place.

Without the app

Send an email from the address you signed in with (Apple or Google):

Subject: Delete my GeldSpace account

We'll check it's you, delete your account and data, and tell you when it's done. This takes at most 30 days.

If you used Apple's "Hide My Email", write from that relay address, or tell us which Apple ID you used so we can find your account.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and sign-in details (name, email address, account ID)
  • Everything in your Mine
  • The Ours items you added, and all their history
  • Your settings, reminder day and notification tokens

What stays, and for how long

  • If you share Ours with a partner, they keep the Ours items they added. Your couple ends, and they're told you've left.
  • Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. They never include your amounts, names or notes.
  • If you said yes to usage data, it's kept for up to 14 months.
  • If you emailed us, we keep that conversation for up to 12 months after we've answered.

Guest data, from before you signed in, lives only on your phone. Deleting the app removes it.
